I stumbled upon gpuworld.org recently, and decided to try my hand at creative writing. If you work with me, keep in mind it's sensationalized fiction, and doesn't reflect my real work environment or feelings.

In hindsight, I feel I could have taken the prompt in a thousand other directions that would have been more novel and entertaining. And certainly, I could have spent more time to crystalize it down to focus more on the metaphors and analogies I cared most about. But, for the time I spent on it, and as my first creative writing project in a decade, I'm pretty happy with it.
